Question: If you had to decorate a room with only three objects, what would you choose, and how would you create a welcoming space?
Answer: For me, I would choose a textured rug, a statement floor lamp with warm light, and a large, lush plant. The rug adds color and comfort, the warm light brings a sense of intimacy, and the plant adds life and freshness. With just these three pieces, the room would become a relaxing retreat.
Question: If you had to create a space inspired by a film, which one would it be, and how would you bring it to life?
Answer: I would choose the documentary “Spirits in the Forest” about Depeche Mode. The film is not just about music but also about deep connections between people, the places that define us, and the emotions that bind us. I’d create a space that reflects this atmosphere – a mysterious room with soft, diffused lighting and slowly moving shadows, like a forest frozen in time. I would use emerald green tones, with accents of black and gray, and natural materials like raw wood and stone. At the center of the room, I’d place a soft lighting installation to evoke the feeling of a moonlit forest, and in the background, their music would subtly play, inviting introspection.
Question: What is the first thing you notice when you enter an unfamiliar room?
Answer: I usually notice the light – the way it comes through the windows and how it reflects on surfaces. Light defines the atmosphere of a space and has an incredible power to transform it. After that, I look at the quality of the finishes and the details of the furniture.
